ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, MI : 1 dead, 2 seriously injured in crash in Allendale on Tuesday, 11th April 2023

One person was killed and two others were hospitalized after a crash in Allendale Tuesday evening, dispatch said.

The two-car crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on 64th Avenue at Pierce Street in Allendale.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said an eastbound driver stopped at the stop sign but then pulled out in front of a southbound car, which had the right of way.

The driver of the eastbound car, a 27-year-old Holland woman, and her front seat passenger, a 26-year-old Allendale woman, were hospitalized with serious injuries. The back seat passenger, identified as 26-year-old Madeleine Martin from Allendale, was killed.

The driver of the southbound car, a 17-year-old from Allendale, sustained minor injuries. He was treated on the scene.
