SELAH, WA : A Yakima man was injured in a car crash on May, Friday, 19th 2017

A Yakima man was injured late Friday when the car he was driving was rear-ended by another vehicle on State Route 821 about 4 miles north of Selah.

Scot W. Wright, 60, of Yakima was driving a Subaru Outback north on SR 821 near milepost 2 about 10:46 p.m. when his vehicle was rear-ended by a 2011 BMW driven by Casey W. Brown, 25, of Puyallup, according to a Washington State Patrol news release.

Wright was taken to Yakima Regional Medical & Cardiac Center, where he was treated and released. Brown was not injured.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and both vehicles were totaled. Troopers say they believe alcohol and/or drugs were involved in the crash.
