Fitchburg,MA : 17-year-old bicyclist injured in crash dies on July, Thursday 6th 2017

Police say a 17-year-old boy who was injured when his bicycle collided with a vehicle has died.

Fitchburg Police Capt. Harry Hess says the crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. Thursday. The teen was airlifted to the hospital.

Hess says the boy died at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester early Saturday.

The crash is under investigation.
