Pelham, N.H : Van crashes into utility pole in Pelham on Sunday morning, January 18, 2015

A van crashed into a utility pole on Mammoth Road in Pelham early Sunday morning.
According to police, Adolfo Burgos, 37, of Lawrence, Massachusetts was driving northbound around 1:30 a.m. when he crossed lanes and struck the pole. The pole split and hung on live wires, forcing Mammoth Road to be closed. The road is expected to be closed until noon Sunday. A detour has been set up for drivers in the area.

Burgos was sent to the Lawrence General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating to determine the cause of the crash. No charges were brought on Burgos.
