Mount Juliet, TN : A 19-year-old was killed in a crash at Beckwith Road On Sunday, July 10th, 2016

A 19-year-old was killed in a crash on Beckwith Road in Mt. Juliet on Sunday.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Lane Dickeson lost control of his 2006 Subaru Baja and hit a tree around 4 p.m.

Beckwith Road was closed for several hours while crews cleared the scene.

Investigators said the victim was wearing a seat belt and was traveling about 35 mph at the time of the crash.

According to the THP report, drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the crash.
