Town of Reid, WI : Wittenberg man injured after a one-vehicle crash on Marathon County Y, near Bridge Road early Sunday morning, August 21, 2016

A 26-year-old Wittenberg man was hospitalized following a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

The crash occurred on Marathon County Y, near Bridge Road in the town of Reid. The vehicle went off the road, overturned and the driver was thrown from the vehicle, the Marathon County Sheriff's Office said.

He was airlifted to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff's Office.

Alcohol was involved, the Sheriff's Office said.
