Cadillac, MI : 17-year-old boy dies after off-road vehicle crash in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula on Wednesday night, Nov 11, 2015

Authorities say a 17-year-old boy has died following an off-road vehicle crash in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula.

The Wexford County sheriff's department says Jacob Pickel of Cadillac died in the Wednesday night crash. Investigators say speed may be a factor.

TV station WWTV reports he was out hunting at the time of the crash. The sheriff's department says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
