A Long Island man was killed and a female driver was seriously injured after their rolled over and crashed 20 feet down an embankment near the Palisades Interstate Parkway. Authorities say 23-year-old Jacob Nadien, of Huntington, was pronounced dead following the Sunday crash. The driver, Julia Stanwycks, of Dix Hills, was in critical condition. The couple was driving from Lake Welch on Sunday when the accident occurred on Willow Grove Road near the Stony Point border. Haverstraw police say speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash. It's the second fatal crash in the area.
