Colorado Springs, CO : Woman killed in single-car crash near the 2100 block of South Circle Drive, Colorado Springs on Tuesday, 20th August 2019

Jennifer Cleland, 46, was killed in a one-car crash Tuesday morning near the 2100 block of South Circle Drive, Colorado Springs police said.

She had been reported missing Sunday after she did not return home from a shopping trip Friday, police said.Cleland was northbound on Circle Drive when she veered off the road and crashed into a ravine near Hancock Drive, said police spokesman Lt. Jim Sokolik. Police received the call about 6:35 a.m. and found her car shortly afterward, Sokolik said.

All northbound lanes of South Circle Drive at Janitell Road were closed for several hours as authorities responded to the scene.
