STATEN ISLAND, NY : 1 person injured in crash on April, Thursday 20th 2017

A person has been transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze following a reported pedestrian crash on Hylan Boulevard in Great Kills during the Thursday morning rush hour, according to the FDNY.

A pedestrian crash was reported at 7:53 a.m. at Hylan Boulevard and Nelson Avenue, according to a spokeswoman for the FDNY/EMS.

The person is likely to recover from serious injuries, the spokeswoman said.
