UPPER SANDUSKY, OH : Teenager injured in U.S. 23 crash on Saturday, January 28th 2017
An Ohio teenager was injured in a single-car accident on U.S. 23 south of Upper Sandusky Saturday night.
The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office reported that Anthony Cecchini, 18, of Massillon, was driving a 1989 Mercedes-Benz south on U.S. 23 at 9:21 p.m. when the car slid off the right side of the roadway due to the weather conditions, struck an embankment and rolled over on its top.
Cecchini was taken by Upper Sandusky EMS to Wyandot Memorial Hospital for treatment of incapacitating injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
Cecchini was cited for unsafe driving for the conditions, the sheriff’s office reported.
