Jefferson City,MO : Jefferson City man killed in afternoon crash on June, Monday 26th 2017

A Jefferson City man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Miller County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred on westbound U.S. 54, a half-mile west of Missouri 87, around 4:48 p.m.

Mark Lepper, 49, swerved to avoid a slower moving vehicle and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
