Matthews police say speed and alcohol were factors in a crash that damaged a business.
Police say a car ran into an auto body repair shop Sunday afternoon at the corner of Highway 51 and Monroe Road.
No injuries were reported.
The shop's owner says there was several thousand dollars' worth of damage to the building and landscaping.
Police say the driver is facing DWI charges.
