STOUTSVILLE, MO : Two injured in rear-end crash west of Stoutsville on Sunday, 24th November, 2019

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Monroe County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2010 Ford Escape driven by Rosalene M. Hirner, 47, of Stoutsville, was heading west on U.S. 24, about 1.6 miles west of Stoutsville, and was preparing to make a right turn into a private drive when the compact SUV was struck in the rear by a 1997 Dodge 3500 pickup truck driven by William F. Blades, 53, of Holliday.

Hirner and an unidentified 10-year-old male passenger, also of Stoutsville, were taken by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department and Monroe County Ambulance Service assisted at the crash scene.
