SCHP investigating Horry County crash

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Horry County.

It happened just after nine o'clock Wednesday night near the intersection of Moores Mill Road and Highway 319.

The driver of a Ford Mustang ran through the intersection, hit a tree and crashed into a pond, according to troopers on scene.

The driver was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

A passenger in the car was air-lifted to the same hospital with serious injuries.

A second passenger was also taken to the hospital. We're told his injuries are minor.

The crash remains under investigation.
