Andover, SD : Bristol man charged with drunken driving after crash near Andover on Saturday, March 14, 2015

A Bristol man sustained minor injuries and was charged with drunken driving and other traffic offenses stemming from a Saturday night crash near Andover, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
William Akron, 48 of Bristol, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 in a car at 7:55 p.m. Saturday when he struck the back of an SUV 2 miles west of Andover, said Capt. Rob Weinmeister of the Highway Patrol.
Steven Krueger, 62, of Conde was driving the SUV, Weinmeister said. He said Krueger received minor injuries, but declined medical treatment.
Krueger’s passenger, Cora Krueger, 53, of Conde was not injured, Weinmeister said. The Kruegers were wearing seat belts.
The Day County Sheriff’s Office, Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Groton Police Department assisted the Highway Patrol with the accident.
