LOUISVILLE, KY : 54-year-old motorcyclist killed in Old Louisville crash on Sunday, 7th July 2024

The name of the man killed in a motorcycle crash in the Old Louisville neighborhood on Sunday has been released. Police said the crash happened between a motorcycle and SUV around 4:50 p.m. at South 4th Street and West Hill Street.

Investigators Eric Taylor, 54, was the driver of the motorcycle. He died at the University of Louisville Hospital.

Police said Taylor was headed north on 4th Street when he drove through a red light and crashed into a Toyota Highlander that was headed west on Hill Street.

No other information was released.
