A person died in a serious crash just outside Lancaster after two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon on South Carolina Highway 903 at Hilldale Drive, troopers said.
A driver stopped at the intersection and pulled out onto Highway 903 into the path of a second vehicle.
That driver was flown to the hospital and pronounced dead. The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital.
There is no information on the seriousness of the driver’s injuries.
Troopers have not released the name of the driver who died.
The crash is under investigation.
