A Jackson County native man was killed in a kayaking accident on Saturday.
Zachary Winkle, 28, of Childersburg, was pronounced dead at the Coosa Valley Medical Center around 2:21 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, after his kayak capsized near the Kymulga Grist Mill Park in Talladega County, according to the Talladega County Coroner’s Office.
