Scranton, PA : A New York man was killed in wrong-way crash at Interstate 81 On Saturday May 7th, 2016

State troopers say a New York man was one of three people killed in wrong-way crash on Interstate 81 in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Police have identified 44-year-old Brooks Lee of Binghamton, New York, as one of the people killed in the crash late Saturday about 25 miles north of Scranton, Pennsylvania, near Harford Township.

State police say Lee was driving a pickup truck alone in the wrong direction when he collided with a minivan head-on.

Police say two occupants in the minivan died. Six others were not hurt.

Officials say their names are being withheld for now.

WNEP-TV reports investigators think alcohol contributed to the crash.
