Bakersfield, CA : Motorist killed in Westside Parkway crash identified on Thursday, August 10, 2017

A 71-year-old man who died Thursday after crashing into a guardrail and freeway sign on the Westside Parkway has been identified.

William Walker Sinclair, of Bakersfield, died in the rollover crash at 9:45 a.m. just west of Coffee Road, according to a coroner's release.

Police said witnesses reported his vehicle traveling at 70 mph before the crash happened.
