Warren County, OH : Woman killed in fatal crash involving motorcycle, horse trailer in a Hamilton Twp. on Sunday afternoon, September 25, 2016

Police have identified the woman killed in a Hamilton Twp. crash Sunday afternoon.

Police told our news partner WCPO-TV a Chevrolet Silverado towing a horse trailer, driven by 43-year-old Dawn York of Mason, was traveling southbound on Ohio 48. A vehicle driven by 83-year-old Stella Blackburn of Lebanon was traveling northbound when she crossed the center line and struck the horse trailer.

Blackburn’s vehicle then hit a motorcycle, occupied by Dee Jay and Sharon Rust of Milford, that was traveling behind York’s pickup truck. Both Dee Jay and Sharon were thrown from the motorcycle and flipped into a ditch.
Sharon, 34, was the passenger on the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dee Jay was transported to Bethesda North Hospital in Hamilton County with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

Blackburn also suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to TriHealth Bethesda Arrow Springs in Lebanon for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
