Granby,MA : 1 dead in Massachusetts motorcycle crash on September, Wednesday 6th 2017

Authorities say a Springfield man riding a motorcycle has died in a collision with a pickup truck in Granby.

The Northwest district attorney’s office says the motorcycle was heading east at about 2 p.m. Tuesday when the operator lost control and skidded into the westbound lane.

The motorcyclist’s female passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Both were taken to the hospital where the operator died. The pickup driver was not injured.

No names were immediately released.

The accident remains under investigation.
