Longmont, CO : A crash involving a truck and a motorcycle on Saturday, November, 11th 2017

Longmont police are investigating a crash involving a truck and a motorcycle that happened at 17th Avenue and Main Street on Saturday.

Sgt. Bruce Pettitt said that the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, which was reported at about 5 p.m. His injuries, as of 7:30 p.m., were considered serious but not life threatening.

Pettitt said that the department's traffic unit will be investgating the crash.

Neither driver was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Pettitt said.
