RICHMOND, VA : Crash on I-95 causes delays for Richmond commuters on Friday, 23rd June 2023

A vehicle crash on Interstate 95 caused delays for Friday morning commuters in Richmond.

The crash was first reported shortly before 7:15 a.m. and was located on I-95 North near the Chamberlayne Avenue exit.

According to VDOT, the north left shoulder, left lane and center lane are all closed. At one point, there was a 4.5-mile-long backup.
