Longview,TX : Passenger in fatal Panola County wreck released from hospital on February, Saturday 10th 2018

One person has been treated and released from the hospital after a wreck this weekend in Panola County that killed two people and sent two others to hospitals.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the two-vehicle crash about 11:30 a.m. Saturday on Texas 315 about 11 miles west of Carthage.

Investigators said it appears Dominique Yvonne Yon, 19, of Houston was driving "at an unsafe speed for wet road conditions," according to information from DPS Sgt. Jean Dark. Yon's vehicle hydroplaned into a vehicle headed in the opposite direction.

Two people were killed: John Paul Lusk, 64, of Cypress, whose vehicle was hit, and Yessenia Ramirez, 19, of Pasadena, a passenger in Yon's vehicle.

Yon was taken to ETMC-Tyler and another passenger, Jackie Xu, 19, of Houston was treated and released from ETMC-Henderson.

Mary Lusk, 62, of Cypress, a passenger in Lusk's vehicle, was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.
