Camas, WA : Wrong-way driver crashes on Highway 14 in Camas on Wednesday night, November 5, 2014

Two people were injured when police say a Camas man drove the wrong way on State Route 14 east of Vancouver just outside Camas late Wednesday night. The Washington State Patrol said 40-year-old Kevin S. Wilson was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway at 11:15 p.m. when he struck a westbound Volkswagen driven by 58-year-old Dan S. Daley of Vancouver. Daley's car then crashed into a Toyota Camry driven by 62-year-old Ardon A. Derie of Vancouver. Daley was taken by ambulance to Legacy Emanuel Hospital; Derie was taken by friends to Peace Health Medical Center in Vancouver. There conditions were no immediately available. Police said Wilson ran from the scene but was captured nearby; he was not injured but police suspect he may have been driving impaired.
