WARRENSBURG, MO : ATV crash leads to injuries, DWI charge on River Street on Saturday, 11th August 2018
A Warrensburg man was hospitalized early Saturday after he crashed an all-terrain vehicle while driving drunk on River Street, police said.
Joseph Bartlett, 38, was taken to Glens Falls Hospital after the 3:49 a.m. crash on River Street, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.Police said he lost control of the four-wheeler near Alden Avenue and rolled it over. Police concluded Bartlett had been drinking, and he was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated pending the results of a blood test, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Bartlett was also ticketed for driving an unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, failure to keep right, operating an ATV on a roadway and operating without a helmet. He was released pending proseciution in Warrensburg Town Court.
