Tifton, GA : Injuries reported after 3-vehicle crash at 20th Street and Tift Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2016

A three-vehicle wreck at the intersection of 20th Street and Tift Avenue Wednesday afternoon resulted in two injuries.

According to an accident report filed at the Tifton Police Department, a gold Ford Explorer, driven by Tonie Harold Tidd of Tifton, was traveling eastbound on 20th Street shortly after noon and ran the red light at the intersection of 20th Street and Tift Avenue.

A black Nissan Altima, driven by Elbert James Sears of Tifton, was traveling northbound on Tift Avenue and was turning left at the traffic light to begin traveling westbound on 20th Street.

A third vehicle, a black Mercedes CLA250, driven by Felicia Leshine Gaines of Tifton, turned right at the intersection and began traveling eastbound on 20th Street.

The Explorer hit the Altima at the intersection, causing the vehicle to spin in the roadway before coming to a complete stop. When the Altima stopped, it was facing southbound on Tift Avenue.

The Explorer then continued eastbound on 20th Street and rear-ended the Mercedes. It then went across two lanes of traffic, going westbound on 20th Street and came to a complete stop in a ditch on 20th Street.

According to the report, Tidd told police that he was feeling dizzy from giving blood and didn't recall what happened.
