Authorities identified a La Palma couple killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 15 early .
Jeff Gance, and his wife Glendale Gance, both 48, died after their Lexus was involved in a rollover crash on northbound I-15 north of Minneola Road early that day, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s division.
The Gances were headed north when California Highway Patrol officials said an Audi collided into the left rear of their Lexus as the Audi changed lanes. The impact caused the Lexus to overturn, officials said.
Jeff Gance was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife was taken to Barstow Community Hospital for treatment. However, officials said Glendale Gance succumbed to her injuries later that day.
CHP officials said two rear passengers in the Lexus were also injured in the crash and were taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. Further details on their condition weren’t available. No other injuries were reported.
