ALTUS, OK : Altus police investigate head-on crash following domestic violence report on Thursday, 21st August 2024

The Altus Police Department (APD) issued a press release regarding a domestic violence call that ended in a head-on collision.

According to APD, officers responded to a call at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday from a motorist who stopped by a child who reported his mother was being punched by her boyfriend.

Moments later, a head-on collision was reported nearby.

An investigation revealed that the suspect, allegedly the same man the child had reported, had forced the victim into the vehicle.

He then intentionally caused the collision.
