Hattiesburg, MS : 1 killed in Hub City wreck on Saturday night, December 3, 2016

A Hattiesburg man died from his injures after a Saturday night crash in the Hub City.

Marcus Anderson, 24, of Hattiesburg was pronounced dead at Forrest General Hospital from injuries he sustained in the wreck according to Forrest County Deputy Coroner, Lisa Klem.

The wreck occurred around 11:30 p.m. at McLeod and Forrest Street in downtown Hattiesburg.

"Hattiesburg police officers responded to the single-vehicle crash where the driver had struck the end of the bridge," said Hattiesburg Police Lt. Jon Traxler.

The cause of the wreck has not been determined according to Traxler, and if anyone has any information, contact the Hattiesburg Police Department.
