Pittsburgh, PA : Motorcyclist dies in crash with car along Saw Mill Run Boulevard in South Hills on Saturday, 3rd November 2018

A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon along Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Pittsburgh’s Duquesne Heights neighborhood.

The victim was identified as William Andrews, 57.

The crash occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. near the BP service station located between Saw Mill Run’s intersection with Interstate 376 and Woodruff Street, according to emergency dispatchers.

Traffic along the busy roadway was being detoured while authorities investigated the crash. The road reopened to traffic about 6 p.m., according to an Allegheny County 911 dispatcher.
