Phoenix, AZ : Man dead, 2 injured in Valley car crash on Saturday afternoon, January 10, 2015

Authorities confirm a man has died after a 2-car crash in Phoenix Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened around 1:15 p.m. near 28th Street and Earll Drive.

Phoenix fire crews say the man's car collided another vehicle with a man and young child inside.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Authorities say the man and child in the other vehicle were hurt, but are expected to survive.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police believe the deceased man may have had a medical condition.

The accident victims are not being identified at this time.
