Omaha, NE : Omaha man critically injured when motorcycle crashes into car, parked SUV on Sunday, 4th March 2018
A 39-year-old Omaha man was critically injured about 7 p.m. Sunday when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a turning car and then hit a parked SUV on Park Avenue near Woolworth Avenue, police said.
Kari G. Tegeder suffered multiple injuries: a bruised lung, lacerated liver, severe facial injuries and fractures to his neck and back, collarbone, shoulder blade and right leg, said Omaha Police Sgt. Chuck Casey, an accident investigator.
The driver of the car — 66-year-old Peggy Lou Stump of Ashland, Nebraska — suffered minor injuries, Casey said.
Both were taken to the Nebraska Medical Center.
A passenger in the car did not report any injuries.
