GRANDVILLE, MI : 1 killed in crash on I-196 in Grandville on Thursday, 24th December, 2020

A woman was killed and two children were hospitalized in a crash on I-196 in Grandville on Thursday afternoon, authorities say.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-196 at the exit ramp to Wilson Avenue, the Michigan State Police said.

They say a full-sized pickup truck lost control and rolled over. The driver, a 43-year-old woman of Grand Rapids, was thrown from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
