ASHEBORO, NC : Two injured in single-vehicle crash on Pisgah Covered Bridge Road on Sunday, 11th November 2018

Two people were transported to hospitals following a single-vehicle accident Sunday night.

The accident occurred on Pisgah Covered Bridge Road.

According to a Randolph County EMS supervisor, one victim was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and the other to Moses Cone Memorial Hospital by ground.

Eric King, a witness, lives nearby where the accident took place.

“I was the first one on scene,” King said Monday morning. “I sat there and talked to (the victims). It’s weighing heavy on my heart.”

King added that the air care helicopter that responded landed in the field beside his house.
