Bonifay,FL : Bonifay woman dies after driveway crash on May,Sunday 20th 2018

A 60-year-old woman has passed away after sustaining injuries in a crash as she was pulling out of a driveway on Sunday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Darlene Williams of Bonifay was turning left out of the driveway at a home on County Road 177 when she failed to yield to the right of way of an oncoming car. The oncoming car was driven by 24-year-old Devin Miller, who had an infant passenger in the back seat.

According to the report, the front of the oncoming car collided with the left side of Williams’ car, causing it to leave the roadway and collide with a tree.

Williams initially sustained serious injuries, but the FHP said Monday night she had passed away.

The driver of the oncoming car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The infant was unharmed.
