South Kingstown, RI : Driver was taken by helicopter to hospital overnight after his vehicle rolled over on early Monday morning August 18th 2014

A driver was taken by helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital overnight after his vehicle rolled over near Mooresfield Road and Stony Fort Road. Ar about 2:18 a.m., the police responded to the intersection for a report of downed wires. Officers found the vehicle on the north section of Mooresfield Road, resting on the passenger side and the driver trapped underneath. The driver, whose age and identity have not been disclosed by the police, was extricated by fire and rescue personnel. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
