Stillwater, OK : A three-vehicle collision on April, Tuesday 25th 2017
A three-vehicle collision that occurred west of Cushing late Tuesday afternoon injured two people, including one who was taken by Air Evac to Tulsa for treatment.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis was driving east on State Highway 33 at about 5:05 p.m. east of Elm Creek Road when the driver crossed the center line and hit a trailer that a second vehicle, a 2014 Toyota Tundra, was towing.
Claudia Wilson, a 76-year-old Cushing resident, then collided her Mercury head-on with a 2000 Nissan truck. Chandler resident Michael Caldwell, 53, was driving the Nissan and was treated and released at Cushing Hospital.
Nobody in the Toyota was injured, but Wilson suffered head, leg and internal chest injuries and was admitted in serious condition to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. All drivers and a passenger in the Toyota were using seatbelts at the time of the collision.
