Hanover, PA : Gettysburg man dies in crash in Franklin Township on Saturday morning, March 18, 2017

A Gettysburg man died after driving off a roadway and striking a tree in Franklin Township on Saturday morning.

Kevin Johnson, 53, died of "multiple blunt injuries" near the intersection of Hilltown and Mummasburg roads, said Pat Felix, the Adams County coroner.

The coroner was called to the scene around 4:45 a.m., Felix said.

There were "several contributing factors" to Johnson's death, including a failure to negotiate the curve and wet roads, Felix said.

The autopsy was completed Monday, Felix said.

A call to Pennsylvania State Police was not immediately returned.
