Tallulah, LA : California woman killed when car collides with 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 in Madison Parish on Saturday, June 27, 2015

Louisiana State Police say a 26-year-old Long Beach, California, woman was killed Saturday when her car collided with an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 in Madison Parish.

Troopers identified the victim as Marsadis Daise. The accident occurred about 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 20 about 5 miles west of the town of Tallulah.

Trooper say Daise was driving east on I-20 when her car struck the rear of the 18-wheeler and caught fire.

The driver of the drive was not hurt.

Troopers say a toxicology sample was obtained from Daise and will be submitted for analysis.

The accident is under investigation.
