Richland County, SC : Moped driver killed in a head-on collision with a car on Two Notch Road on Wednesday night, May 11, 2016

The moped driver killed Wednesday night in a head-on collision with a car on Two Notch Road has been identified as 27-year-old Robert Paul Lancour, III, of Elgin, Richland County coroner Gary Watts said.

The crash happened Wednesday just before 9 p.m. The car was traveling south on Two Notch Road and the moped was traveling north. Officials with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the moped driver went left of center and struck the car.

No charges are expected to be filed, the South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
