LIVE OAK, GA : Serious injuries for one driver in Saturday accident on Saturday, 29th October 2016
One driver was seriously injured in a Saturday afternoon accident, according to an FHP report.
Gary Griffith, 63, of Live Oak was traveling south on River Road nearing County Road 136, the report states.
Sandra Faye, 77, of Live Oak, was traveling east on CR 136, according to the report.
At 2:20 p.m., Griffith failed to stop for the stop sign at CR 136 and traveled across the road, impacting the front left of Faye’s vehicle, the report states.
Faye’s vehicle traveled off the roadside, coming to a rest in a grassy ditch, the report states.
Faye taken to Shands at UF with serious injuries, according to the report.
Griffith received no injuries, the report states.
Griffith was placed under arrest for felony DUI, according to the report.
