Northampton County, PA : Tanker truck, pickup truck, another vehicle crash on Route 22 in Hanover Township on Tuesday afternoon, January 20, 2015

A tanker truck, a pickup truck and another vehicle crashed Tuesday afternoon just as the Route 512 entrance ramp reaches Route 22 West in Hanover Township, Northampton County, according to emergency radio reports.

The pickup truck ended up at the end the ramp, facing traffic. The tractor-trailer, which was hauling perfume residue, emergency dispatches say, stopped in the right lane, according to a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation traffic camera. Skid marks indicate it was traveling in that lane.

The third vehicle wasn't visible from the camera, but something appears to have damaged the tanker on the driver's side. What appeared to be a vehicle's hood could later be seen.

A Northampton County emergency dispatch shift supervisor said the crash happened at 1:37 but he wasn't sure if there were any injuries. A dispatch a few minutes later said there were minor injuries.

Traffic was getting by in the area outside the left lane along the cement median.
