HOUSTON, TX : Eastex Freeway shut down due to deadly wrong-way crash heading north near Kingwood Drive on Friday, 12th July 2024

A deadly wrong-way crash shut down the Eastex Freeway in Montgomery County Friday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to Houston Transtar, this happened at 1:42 a.m. in the northbound, or outbound lanes, near Kingwood Drive.

HPD said at least one person is confirmed dead.
