Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA : Motorcyclist injured in Route 422 accident in Montgomery County on Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2016

A Pottstown man was taken to Reading Hospital following a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon on Route 422 in Montgomery County, police said.

Lower Pottsgrove Township police said Joseph Corra, 36, was riding a motorcycle in the eastbound lanes of Route 422 just before 5 p.m. when a vehicle moved into his lane and he swerved to avoid it.

Corra went off the roadway and lost control of his motorcycle on the berm, police said.

A Reading Hospital spokeswoman said Sunday night that Corra was in fair condition.
