A 25-year-old man was arrested on a host of charges following a pursuit which ended in a crash in south Marion County Saturday evening.
Tamos Mardese James, of Wildwood, was arrested Saturday night following the 7 p.m. incident and faces charges, including fleeing or eluding law enforcement at high speed, grand theft of a motor vehicle; marijuana possession not more than 20 grams and knowingly driving with a suspended license.
According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office report, a deputy recognized the car James was driving as stolen and tried to make a traffic stop in the 3100 block of north U.S. 441. James proceeded to head south and turned west on Southeast 80th Street before turing south on County Road 475.
