Duluth, MN: 22-year-old Superior injured after a large rock crashed through the windshield of the car on Interstate 35 on Sunday night,16th November 2014

A 22-year-old Superior, Wis., man was injured late Sunday night after a large rock crashed through the windshield of the car he was driving on Interstate 35 in Duluth. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Matthew J. Fijalkiewicz was driving a 2013 Ford Taurus south on I-35 near the U.S. 2/Bong Bridge interchange at about 11:20 p.m. when the rock came through the windshield and struck him in the chest. Fijalkiewicz was transported to St. Luke's hospital in Duluth, the patrol reported. Information on his condition was not immediately available Monday.
