Hannibal, MO : Quincy teen injured after crash near Hannibal on Saturday, July 30, 2016

A 17-year-old driver was hospitalized after a crash Saturday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Austin A. Fisher of Quincy, Ill., was driving a 2012 Ford Mustang when he veered off the road on Route T about three miles south of Hannibal. After leaving the road, he struck several mailboxes before landing in a ditch. Fisher suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The report said the crash occurred at 8:03 p.m. and that Fisher was wearing a seat belt.
